Fons de Visscher was a respected fishmonger for 27 years in Helmond, a small city in the Netherlands, when he decided to start a fish restaurant. Driven by his passion, Fons created The Seafood Bar in 2012 in Amsterdam.

After 4 successful locations in Amsterdam and Utrecht, the Netherlands, we have opened our first overseas fish restaurant; The Seafood Bar in Soho, London. It is a dream come true and we are very excited to welcome London to our  restaurant family!
